Cincinnati Beer Week highlight for Feb. 10, 2014: Fifty West tap takeover at Arnold's Bar.

I can't think of any better way to celebrate Cincinnati Beer Week than by tapping tons of local brews at the oldest bar in Cincinnati! I've already highlighted one event at Arnold's, but there's just no better place for enjoying a brew around.

Arnold's will be tapping five beers from Fifty West Brewing Company at 5:30 p.m. Two of them are exclusives that haven't been tasted outside the brewery before, too! The list is below.

OAKED Punch You in the EyePA - Fifty West's ├╝ber-popular imperial IPA has been resting on oak and is ready for primetime. This beer is already delicious. I can't imagine how the oak will take this to a new level.

Thirty-37 Pale Ale - What is there to say about this beer that hasn't been said? One of the best session pale ales, period. Fruity and tropical in flavor, it giveth, but not taketh away.

Ghost of Imogene - It's a chocolatey, toasty Russian imperial stout with body for days. A great way to warm up, and I'm sure it pairs well with an Arnold's burger.

Our Mom's Advice - I've never met a person who didn't enjoy a good Belgian Tripel. Fifty West's has a sweet body and peppery finish sure to appeal to just about anyone. Just take this one easy – it.s 8.5 percent ABV.

UNRELEASED imperial pale ale - Aside from the Oaked Punch You in the EyePA, this is another reason to get down to Arnold's this evening! Nobody's ever even heard the name of this beer! Given Fifty West's pedigree for the pale ale, it's sure to please.

So there it is, the highlight of the day. Oh, did I mention it's $5 Monday burger night? One of Arnold's burgers is $5 with a side of fries. Put that together with a glass of local beer and baby, you got a stew goin' (Bonus points to anyone who gets that reference). Viva la Beer Week.
